Kota Kinabalu: Newly appointed Philippine Ambassador to Malaysia, Maria Angela A Ponce, reaffirmed the Philippines’ commitment to deepening ties with Malaysia.
The first female ambassador of the Philippines to Malaysia, Ponce gave the assurance when presenting her credentials to the King, Sultan Ibrahim ibni Sultan Iskandar at Istana Negara, recently.

Ponce also conveyed the warm greetings of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. and the Filipino people, wishing the King good health and continued success.
She reaffirmed the Philippines’ commitment in deepening ties with Malaysia, underlining the significance of this year’s 60th anniversary of bilateral relations between the two nations.
