Kota Kinabalu: City Hall (DBKK) opened two more Ramadan bazaar sites in the city at Padang Merdeka and City Park (in front of the Old Court building).

DBKK Director-General Junainah Abbie said these newly designated bazaar sites are open to the general public.

“Both Ramadan bazaars are distinct from other bazaars operated by DBKK.

“At Ramadan bazaar in Padang Merdeka, visitors are permitted to sit in the field to break their fast after purchasing their iftar food.

“Similarly, the Ramadan bazaar at City Park also offers designated seating areas with tables and chairs, allowing visitors to comfortably break their fast,” she said.

Junainah urged citizens not to miss the opportunity to experience breaking the fast in the open area of the Ramadan bazaar and enjoy the atmosphere together with other visitors.

In addition to the two new Ramadan bazaar locations mentioned above, she said the Ramadan bazaar locations from previous years under the management of DBKK remain operational this year.

These include Lintasan Deasoka Sembulan Indah Permai, Pekan Tanjung Aru, Damai Pasar Malam Inanam, Kingfisher and Manggatal.
