SOOK: The construction of a permanent health facility to replace the Mansiat Health Clinic, which was destroyed in a fire last year, was unable to proceed due to a lack of available space on site.
State Community Development and People’s Wellbeing Minister Datuk James Ratib said the existing site is barely 2.5 acres and to construct a new building would require the Ministry of Health at least three acres.
