Jesselton Twin Towers gets Occupancy Certification

Kota Kinabalu: Jesselton Properties Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of Jesselton Group, on Tuesday received the Occupancy Certification (OC) for Jesselton Twin Towers, the tallest building in Borneo at 56 storeys, from Mayor Datuk Seri Dr Sabin Samitah, putting Sabah on the regional property map.
Jesselton Group Executive Chairman Tan Sri David Chu said with the issuance of the OC, the notice of Vacant Possession or the notice of handing over of keys to the purchasers is expected to be issued in April.

Jesselton Twin Towers is located strategically between Jalan Lintas and Jalan Damai, and is a mere 10-minute drive to the city centre as well as the Kota Kinabalu International Airport.
It is surrounded by amenities such as specialist hospitals, top private schools, shopping and recreation establishments and the 18-hole Sabah Golf and Country Club.
Chu extended his gratitude to the hard work of the project team including the consultants, the main contractor China State Construction Engineering Malaysia, sub-contractors, suppliers and all those who have dedicated their efforts to complete the iconic strata residential project.
He said almost 80 per cent of the units have been taken up with around 15 per cent of foreign buyers, mainly from China, Hong Kong, South Korea, Brunei and other neighbouring countries.

Jesselton Twin Towers has appointed Knight Frank Malaysia, a leading international property management company with extensive experience in managing residential and commercial properties, as exclusive property manager.
According to Chu, Jesselton Twin Towers started its construction in January 2019.

He said although the global Covid-19 pandemic posed severe negative impacts on the global economy and the sales revenue and cash flow of the project, particularly in 2020 and 2021, Jesselton Properties worked hard to ensure prompt payments to the main contractor, sub-contractors and suppliers.
Jesselton Twin Towers won “The Borneo Star Award” at the StarProperty Awards 2019. The award was for the “Best East Malaysia Development”.
