Kota Kinabalu: The RM30 million six-storey multilevel parking building project to provide about 400 parking bays at Foh Sang is expected to be completed in October.

The project approved under the 11th Malaysia Plan (11MP) started its construction phase in March 2020.

Meanwhile, those living near Luyang are invited to a “Pesta Angpow Luyang” to be held at Lintas Square on March 1.

Community Development Leader Unit (UPPM) for Luyang Gee Tien Siong said UPPM Luyang decided to hold the event after Chinese New Year so that it would not clash with other similar events.

Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Haji Noor has been invited while Mayor Datuk Seri Dr Sabin Samitah and his wife have confirmed their attendance.

“We will be distributing 1,000 red packets and Mandarin oranges to visitors, including children and senior citizens in the event which will start at 5pm until 11pm,” he said.

Gee said 40 booths would be given to traders based on a first come basis and those interested can contact Nelson Tang at 016-8231163.
