PKR launches Koperasi Keadilan Berhad

Kota Kinabalu: Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) is setting an example for other parties through the launch of Koperasi Keadilan Berhad (Kira Sabah) to safeguard the welfare of its members, said Kira Sabah Chairman Raiyan Abdul Rahim.
She wants each Kira member to play a role as the best agent in promoting the cooperative to the general public.

The Member2Member programme introduced by Kira provides exclusive opportunities for the cooperative members to generate additional income, she said, when launching Kira Sabah at a hotel here recently.
Raiyan, who also briefed all present about Kira during the event, said Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim had emphasised that the cooperative movement is a method to empower the people economically and reduce economic dependence on the success of investors and large companies.
“Hence, Kira Sabah will focus on efforts to register more members and increase the sale of cooperative shares,” she said, adding the Member2Member is a new incentive announced by PKR Deputy President Rafizi Ramli at the 2023 Keadilan Annual National Congress to encourage more Keadilan members to join Kira.
Through the Member2Member Programme, Kira members who register their friends as new member will receive intensive cooperative shares worth RM10.

The launch of Kira Sabah was attended by 86 Sabah PKR members and leaders.
