Pisaan head, others join KDM

PENAMPANG: Sabah Rungus Pitas Association (Pisaan) President Richard Mazagi joined the People’s Democratic Welfare Party (KDM), last Friday.

Richard, along with community leaders and supporters from Bengkoka, Pitas, handed over the membership forms to KDM President Datuk Peter Anthony at the party headquarters, here.

Peter said Richard’s entry with his supporters marked the beginning of KDM’s struggle in Pitas, especially the Bengkoka area.

“We welcome not just the leaders but also the people in Pitas, especially in Bengkoka, into the KDM,” he said.

Present were KDM Deputy President who is also Bandau Assemblyman Wetrom Bahanda, Supreme Council Member Datuk Alimudin Kaida and others.

Peter, who is also Melalap Assemblyman, hoped that KDM Pitas, especially in Bengkoka, will strengthen the party’s position, especially with the State Election (PRN) expected to take place soon.
