NABAWAN: More than 5,000 Mukim Sepulut residents demand the Federal Government through the Ministry of Health (MoH) to expedite construction of the new Sepulut Health Clinic and “return” it to them.

Residents’ spokesperson Keris Sangau said the Sepulut Health Clinic has been temporarily operating at a long house at Salarom Taka village since 2021.

He said the transfer was due to soil compaction which caused the clinic building to be deemed structurally unsafe.

Keris said the transfer burdens people from 30 villages in seeking treatment mainly due to the distance.
