“It is estimated that 30 service counters will be opened throughout the programme in addition to several events such as sports, registration of the Home Ministry’s ‘Sahabat Kita Demi Negara’ programme and activities that can provide understanding to the community regarding security issues.
“In the programme, we also apply the values of patriotism among the community while explaining the current situation, especially in the East Coast Security Zone of Sabah (Esszone).
“This is a good programme to bring government agencies closer together with the community, especially in Tambisan,” he told the media after paying a courtesy visit on the Yang di-Pertua Negeri, Tun Juhar Mahiruddin at Istana Negeri, Tuesday.
Hamzah added that his team is always ready to carry out their duties if elections were held in the near future.
Also present during the visit were the Chief Executive Officer of Esscom, Dr Jamaluddin Mohd Ali and Lahad Datu District Officer Firuz Idzualdeen @ Benety Mohd Dzul.
