Ranau customary land woe is solved

RANAU: The customary land claims of villagers in Kg Malinsau, Kg Wayan and Sinurai (Mawasi) here the past eight years had been resolved, thanks to Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Hj Noor and the GRS-BN State Government.The Mawasi Council, which represents the three villages, held a thanksgiving ceremony in Kg Malinsau which was attended by Deputy Chief Minister Datuk Dr Joachim Gunsalam.
Dr Joachim, who is also Kundasang Assemblyman, said he was grateful because after the GRS-BN Government took over, he had personally met with the Chief Minister and requested that the case be reviewed.
