Kota Kinabalu: There is an urgent need to repair and upgrade the roads from Ranau and Telupid to the East Coast without waiting for the Pan Borneo Highway to be completed before the re-opening of borders to tourists on April 1.
Darau assemblyman Azhar Datuk Matussin said the present road condition is unimpressive and it worries him as to whether Sabah is ready to receive foreign tourists. He said majority of the tourists who come to Sabah would normally enter the State through Kota Kinabalu.
