Kota Kinabalu: The State Government will continue to intensify efforts in fighting for the rights of Sabah, as enshrined in the Malaysia Agreement 1963 (MA63), through the Special Council on MA63 set up by Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin on Dec 2 this year.Assistant Minister to the Chief Minister, Datuk Abidin Madingkir
(pic), said Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Haji Noor, as well as the State Secretary and State Attorney-General, are among members of this special council.

This special council will manage matters related to the constitution and the equal status, security and foreign migrants as well as social economy, including the implementation of the 12th Malaysia Plan (12MP), he said when winding-up on behalf of the Chief Minister for the Chief Minister’s Department (CMD) at the State Legislative Assembly here, Tuesday.
He said this reply to Senallang Assemblyman Datuk Seri Mohd Shafie Apdal who had urged the State Government to intensify efforts in fighting for the MA63 rights.
