Kota Kinabalu: Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS) has been entrusted with the responsibility to conduct a study on the accuracy and effectiveness of a Covid-19 test kit manufactured by a company in Wuhan, China.
The study, a collaboration between the university and the Sabah China Chamber of Commerce (SCCC), is aimed at expanding efforts to contain the pandemic in the State.

SCCC Secretary-General Tan Kok Jyh said the test kit was unlike those being used in the field now.
“We are sensitive towards the virus situation in Sabah and so we managed to obtain this test kit from China to study.
