KOTA KINABALU: Veveonah Mosibin dined with Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin during the his recent visit here.
The 18-year-old student shared a wefie taken with the prime minister on her Instagram account, Sunday.

The post read: “Stay awesome! It was such an honour for me and my parents to be invited to have dinner with Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin, the eighth Prime Minister of Malaysia. He is such a humble and amazing person. Thank you so much, Tan Sri.”
It was made to understand that Higher Education Minister Datuk Dr Noraini Ahmad was also present during the dinner.
The Kampung Sapatalang girl made headlines, in June, after a video of her climbing a tree to gain better Internet access to sit for an online examination, went viral.
However, she was thrown into negative limelight when Deputy Communications and Multimedia Minister Datuk Zahidi Zainul Abidin and Deputy Finance Minister Datuk Abdul Rahim Bakri who is also Kudat MP, accused her of lying about the exam and was just making content for her YouTube channel.

She also met Science, Technology and Innovation Minister Khairy Jamaluddin as seen in the photos she shared on her Instagram, recently.

It was reported that Khairy had offered an apology to Veveonah on behalf of the government.
