It requires participants to present a 15-minute scientific concept in entertaining and innovative ways. Relating her experience, Orzee said it was a nerve-wrecking competition but countless of practice prior to the finale helped build their confidence.ADVERTISEMENT Her friend Charlene said she entered the competition after seeing her two classmates taking part in the same contest in 2013. "We thought it would be fun, so we joined. We never thought we would finish among the top three. We were only making sure we gave our best on stage," she said.
