State Government to carry on

Kota Kinabalu: Chief Minister Datuk Seri Mohd Shafie Apdal vowed to remain  focused to develop the state for the benefit of the people following Bersatu decision to enter Sabah. 

"With regards to the entry of Bersatu to Sabah, we cannot stop them, or any other party for that matter. Our laws also allow for new parties to be formed," he said

He said they have worked with Pakatan Harapan before, and after the elections  formed the federal government together. 

"We will continue to work with them, for the best interests of the people. 

" I am aware of the feelings of our supporters and also the people in Sabah over the Bersatu decision. 

He said they will continue to  govern Sabah to the best of their ability and ensuring that our rights will be reinstated and affirmed as per the Malaysia Agreement 1963 (MA63) which remains our priority.
