Silver Trouble emerge champions

Kota Kinabalu: Silver Trouble clinched the 2nd Sabah Pairs Open Lawn Bowls Championship title at the Likas Lawn Bowls Green on Sunday.The team from Perak featuring former world Number One Safuan Said with partner Muhd Fitri Hashim had no problem beating Saiful Samdin/Mohd Azwan Shuhaimi of team MPK Klang 'B' 16-9 in the final to take home the RM3,000 cash prize while the losing finalists received RM2,000.Earlier in the semi-finals, Silver Trouble defeated Solid B's paring of Hafiz Firdaus Affendy/Farah Jali 17-6 while MPK Klang beat Fais Ishak/Saadan Alak from Star 21-7.

Each of the losing semi-finalists received RM1,000 and RM500 each was also given to Jack High, Poli KK, Poli Malaysia and D'Line Tiger who finished from fifth to eighth place respectively.Meanwhile, the Plate title was won by Labuan X (Hassan Jinin/Zainuddin Che Amat) with a 14-9 victory over Black Bowls 'A' (Nisah Ubin/Roslan Abd Rahman) in the final.Stay up-to-date by following Daily Express’s Telegram channel.
