Negeri Sembilan: Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has asked his critics to credit him for not using government machinery while campaigning.The Pakatan Harapan candidate for the Port Dickson by-election said this was the first election where government machinery was not used by a candidate whose party formed the government."No ministers came here and announced financial allocations for PD.ADVERTISEMENT "No roads were resurfaced, no promises were made to build schools and no perimeter walls of mosques were painted."Please at least give credit la where it is due," he told a briefing of the party's election machinery.Anwar said even his wife Datin Seri Wan Azizah Wan Ismail used a private car when campaigning for him."Some criticise me for attending dinners, but many a time I don't even eat.ADVERTISEMENT "But if you think I have done wrong, I apologise...I will accept advice given in good faith," he said.At the Yayasan Belia Malaysia event, Anwar appealed to youth voters to come back and vote on polling day.

He also appealed to voters to accept him."I have decided to contest here and to make PD as my main station. This will be our base, Insyaallah, if I am elected as an MP, along with other Pakatan leaders," he said.
