Unexploded bomb found in Lahad Datu
Lahad Datu: An unexploded bomb, believed to be a mortar, was found at the plantation areas of Ladang Sahabat 17 by a plantation worker about 7 am, Monday who informed his manager and the Auxiliary Police.District Police Chief, ACP Hamzah Ahmad said a team went to check and found that the bomb belong to Malaysian army and was dropped during the Ops Daulat in 2013 but did not explode.

"We have informed the Bomb Unit of Tawau Police and the bomb will be detonate today (Tuesday)," he said.

Hamzah reminded the public to immediately inform the authorities if they found any shell or unfamiliar object. - Efa Rizan
