Kota Kinabalu: The State reserve team will need to be at their vigorous best in order to have a chance to beat Felda United in their President Cup second leg quarterfinal tie at the Stadium UPM in Serdang this afternoon (Friday). The team without six of their regulars took a one-goal lead before losing 2-1 in the first leg played here at Likas Stadium on Monday but coach Johnny Dominicus is confident the team will give the hosts a run for their money in today's encounter."We do not have all six of the first team players back but Aidil Safee, Kelvin Pengiran will definitely be playing for us tomorrow and their presence will certainly boost our chances.ADVERTISEMENT "Despite their strong reputation and defensive record, we did give them a lot of problems on Monday. We could have gone two goals up if we were a bit sharper earlier."They did not have clear chances on goal apart from the two gifted goals and with Aidil and Kelvin in the team, I am sure the back four are more solid and the others will have more confidence to venture forward to seek for goals," he said Thursday. The team will again be without Hamran Peter and Evan Wensley Wenceslaus for the match as they are wanted by the senior team for their last eight group match against PKNP on Saturday.ADVERTISEMENT Stay up-to-date by following Daily Express’s Telegram channel.
