Sabahan teen emerges runner-up

Kota Kinabalu: A teenager from Sabah, Muhammad Malik Izzat Zainoll, won second place and took home RM2,000 after beating 15 other contestants in a recently concluded Asian Comic Con (ACC) Fifa 18 tournament at the Sunway Pyramid Convention Centre in Kuala Lumpur.Malik, 19, had joined the national level competition after emerging victorious during the Grand Merdeka Battlegrounds Season 1 Fifa 18 tournament at the Grand Merdeka Mall in Telipok, recently.Another contestant from Sabah, Mohd Shahrizan Sabdin, 26, managed to reach the quarter finals of the ACC Fifa 18 tournament after placing second in the Grand Merdeka Battlegrounds Season 1 Fifa 18 tournament.ADVERTISEMENT In addition, a group of five young Sabahans, "Borneo Dragon FV", represented the State and managed to complete the quarter finals of the ACC Mobile Legends tournament.
