36 selected to represent State in MSSM U12 tourney

Kota Kinabalu: Thirty-six players have been named by Sabah School Sports Council to represent Sabah in the MSSM Under-12 Hockey tournament to be held in Perak from August 4-9.These players selected during the just concluded MSSS Hockey Under-12 Championships which ended at the Likas Hockey Stadium on Saturday will undergo centralise training at the Sekolah Sukan Malaysia in Sepanggar at the end of this month.

The Council Hockey technical chairman Jamat Jaafar said the coach for the boys team is Tony Kansulan who has guided the North zone to take the boys State title while Mohd Ridzuan Rosdi who was the coach for the interior girls winning team will take charge of the State girls team.

The names of the players with 18 for boys and 18 for girls are Mohd Azuan Zefanya, Mohd Hafiz Rudy Iskandar, Muhd Harry Wilta, Noor Rahmat Saliwangi, Muhd Iskandar Hamsa, Mohd Tadli Anchu, Stan Ivan Silverinus, Muhd Izhan Afzaan Junaidi, Mohd Haikal Misbah, Muhd Rafiq Muhd Raze, Muhd Daniel Asri, Mohd Salahuddin Abdullah, Eddy Mazlan Yusuf, Mohd Shareyzal Abd Malik, Mohd Nur Syafiq Abdullah, Mohd Shah Yuzairief, Airul Izani Rafizan, Mohd Danieal Syazrin for the boys and Tecla Gee Majuwil, Elvie Lookin, Sholictika Wanna Suli, Zefanya Tinus, Elyna Joanes, Ajurah Kauran, Preatty Aqueen Patrick, Helerency Nelvy Peter, Ellyfivia Arizan, Nur Syazlina Usman, Nelly Ann Rayner, Myxandra D Angel Mashrinu, Chrisne Jairin, Anna Eliana Malois, Azmawati Aziah Ahmad, Nurshahirah Abdurus, Nur Rabiatul Adawiyyah Abdullah and Qamarun Nafisah Md Taip.

Four players on standby are Ellycia Vaelrina Antonis, Khairunnisa Izani Amin, Nur Alya Maisarah Daus and Diana Syafika Lorin. – GL Oh
