World Cup 'live' at Karamunsing

Kota Kinabalu: Karamunsing Complex is offering free live broadcast of the 2018 FIFA World Cup matches for a month starting today (June 14). Members of the public can watch the live football matches at the complex's new exhibition hall from 5pm to 5am daily. The World Cup will kick off with the first match between Russia and Saudi Arabia at 11pm today. ADVERTISEMENT Karamunsing Complex proprietor Datuk James Hwong said the fully air-conditioned exhibition hall was ideal to watch the game with a 40-foot by 30-foot LED screen and four eight-foot by eight-foot LED screens installed. He said the venue could accommodate more than 2,000 audiences. Apart from providing live transmission of the World Cup, there will also be more than 10 stalls selling a variety of food and drinks at reasonable price. The venue can accommodate up to 20 stalls in total. Outside food and drinks are discouraged.
