Bouncer to know fate May 17 over murder

Kota Kinabalu: A 29-year-old bouncer charged with the murder of a teenage boy outside a bar in Asia City here two years ago, will know his fate on May 17.The High Court deferred the decision on Mohd Azmin Lidin, whose case was scheduled for decision, Wednesday.Azmin is accused of murdering Yaacob Nasran, 18, between 3.30am and 4.30am on Dec 15, 2016 outside the Siam Thai Bar, Jalan Asia City. Azmin was on Feb 28 testified as a sole witness in his defence and had opted to give his evidence under oath.He was represented by counsel Dato' Seri Rakhbir Singh while Deputy Public Prosecutor Gan Peng Kun for the prosecution. – Jo Ann Mool
