Man seriously hurt in mishap

Kota Kinabalu: A man in his 30s suffered severe injuries to his face after he rammed his vehicle into the back of a lorry near Tanjung Lipat, Likas, Thursday.The man, travelling in an old Ford car, was heading from Kota Kinabalu to Tanjung Lipat at 4.20am. When he arrived near the Tanjung Lipat playground area, he rammed into the back of the lorry which was used to water plants. He was sent to the hospital for treatment.

In another accident, a 23-year-old sustained light injuries after the Perodua Kancil he was travelling in overturned in front of SJK (C) Chung Hwa, here, Thursday.It was learnt that the man was heading from Penampang to Manggatal when the incident occurred at 4am. He was believed to be trying to avoid hitting a dog when he lost control of his car and overtuned.Meanwhile, a motorcyclist in his 50s was seriously hurt following an accident with a Perodua Viva in front of Taman Cantik along Jalan Lintas-Kepayan, here, Thursday.
