Petronas most attractive employer

Kuala Lumpur: Petroliam Nasional Bhd (Petronas) has been crowned Most Attractive Employer in Malaysia for 2018 by Randstad Employer Brand Research, a global recruitment agency.The national oil and gas company climbed up one spot to claim the coveted 2018's Most Attractive Employer award after coming in second the previous two years.Based on the results from the Randstad Employer Brand Research, the top three most attractive employers remained unchanged from last year, with Shell Malaysia and Nestle (Malaysia) Bhd coming in second and third, respectively.

Randstad Malaysia Country Director Ryan Carroll said in the three years that the recruitment agencies conducted the survey, more and more companies were starting to evaluate and redesign their employer brand so as to enjoy the benefits it brings to their talent attraction and retention efforts."This is especially true for Malaysia where companies are constantly competing to hire, engage and retain the best people from a very limited talent pool," he said in a statement.The awards are presented to the top three companies that have received the highest attractiveness score in the survey that job seekers in Malaysia will want to work for.The winners for this category were selected from the 75 largest employers in Malaysia based on local workforce size.
