Beaufort: The State Government will build more PR1MA homes throughout Sabah to ensure people from the lower income group can own their own home.Chief Minister Tan Sri Musa Aman said this will be carried out through several projects in cooperation with local developers.

"The houses will be of high quality and affordable," he said when launching the PR1MA Modern Housing Project in Woodford estate here, Saturday.

He said the Government is supportive of the project and hopes it will continuously get the support from developers so that people from the lower income bracket can own a home.

650 PR1MA units involving 300 single-storey and 320 two-storey houses have been built in Woodford estate on a 26-hectare land.

On other development, Musa also officiated a programme between the Royal Malaysian Air Force, community leaders and the community of Kampung Kubu Pintas.

The programme was meant to expose the community to the duties of the security forces.

In the meantime, he urged Barisan Nasional leaders to constantly go to the ground to listen to the needs of the people and find the right solution.

He also advised elected representatives never to be arrogant but instead treat the people they serve as their boss.

"For us leaders, every day is a general election," he added. - Iskandar Dzulkifli
