Labuan golfers lead Amateur Open

Labuan: Home golfer, Mohd Zariq Encho Suhaini Saturday carded a stunning four-under-par 68 to lead the opening day of the 34th Sabah Amateur Open Golf Championship 2018 on Friday.The tournament is being played at Labuan International Golf Club (LIGC), a par-72 course adjacent to Universiti Malaysia Sabah Labuan International Campus from April 13 to 15.Sarawak's top golfer Lee Ka Tung carded a three-under-par 69, followed by local golfers Mohd Jafar Ahmat and Joannes Pius who shot two-under-par 70 and one-under-par 71 respectively.
