Labuan's first Women's Anti-Corruption Movement

Labuan: The Malaysia Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) here, in collaboration with Labuan Corporation (LC), has launched the island's first Women's Anti-Corruption Movement (G-War).Launched in conjunction with the International Women's Day last Thursday, it is aimed at bringing women across Malaysia to rise with the MACC in their efforts to curb and combat corruption through their roles in family institutions, organisations and communities.Some 60 women from the island gathered at the Labuan Corporation Tower to participate in the launching ceremony. Several departments under LC attended the ceremony as well to show their support.

A talk on the "Role of Women in Combating Corruption" by Labuan MACC Assistant Director Geoffrey Tawayan was among the highlights at the event. Also present was Labuan MACC Director Abdulamin Abdillah.Stay up-to-date by following Daily Express’s Telegram channel.
