Another Ranau school up in smoke

Ranau: Another primary school here went up in smoke, Tuesday, barely a week after the teachers' quarters of a primary school were razed.The 4pm fire at SK Nunuk Ragang destroyed a row of wooden building housing administration offices and Primary One classrooms.Ranau Chief Education Officer Siti Hamne Hashim said it was fortunate that no one was injured in the incident.

"This must be a valuable lesson for everyone in the education sector as well as others to prioritise on safety against hazards, such as what happened today and last Wednesday."My advice to all concerned is that they must check and double-check on the situation at their schools and ensure everything is in order.
