Foreigner gets 7 years for causing hurt to man in Lahad Datu

Lahad Datu: A 26-year-old foreigner was sentenced to seven years' jail for causing hurt to a man, last year.Thomas Marin Petrus pleaded guilty before Sessions Court Judge Zaini Fishir@Fisal to assaulting the man by firing a shot at him in front of an entertainment outlet in Lahad Datu Square on June 11, 2017. The offence under Section 324 of the Penal Code carries a jail term of up to 10 years, or with fine, or with whipping, or with two of such punishments.
