'Guan Eng should not contest in re-election'

GEORGE TOWN: DAP Secretary-General Lim Guan Eng should not contest in the re-election of the party's Central Executive Committee as he is facing two corruption charges, says People's Alternative Party (PAP) Vice-President Rahmad Isahak. He said based on the principle of integrity and moral, the Penang Chief Minister should excuse himself as a candidate in the CEC election in November even though the list of candidates was based on the December 2012 election."Rationally to excuse oneself as a candidate would be the best example...when he is facing two corruption charges even though Guan Eng had declined to resign as Chief Minister.
