Sabah eatery comes up with Lobster Nasi Lemak

Kota Kinabalu: Nasi lemak buffs can now enjoy the favourite Malaysian dish with lobster, instead of the standard chicken, beef or cuttlefish.Tavern Kitchen & Bar in Imago Shopping Mall is offering their Nasi Lemak with freshly-baked Lobster, believed the first in Malaysia and elevating it to a new level.Nasi Lemak is cooked with coconut milk and pandan leaves, for that pleasing and creamy aroma topped off with a number of garnishes such as fried anchovies, roasted peanuts, boiled egg and freshly sliced cucumbers along with sambal.

Diners will have a selection of either 400gm (RM49) or 600gm (RM89) of lobster, sourced freshly from local markets. Patrons will have a selection of three sauces – Buttermilk, Satay Sauce or Spicy Sambal which will be baked, infusing it into the lobster, creating a punch to its flavour.The choice does not end there as diners will also have the option to add-on giant Tiger Prawns or Giant Squids or even both to go with their already savoury Nasi Lemak.
