Admitted to Native Court of Appeal

Kota Kinabalu: Five members of the Sabah Bar were admitted as advocates to the Native Court of Appeal here, Tuesday.They were Dennis Tweening Rantau, Rizwandean Bukhary M Borhan, Hershan @ Ray Herman, Emmie M Idang and Rosliah Abdul Rahman.Their applications to be admitted were granted by Chief Judge of Sabah and Sarawak Tan Sri Richard Malanjum who sat with assessors Kota Kinabalu District Chief OKK William Majimbun and Native Chief Saniban Ampilah.

The applications were moved by senior counsel Datuk John Sikayun, which receive no objection from Senior State Counsel Juprin Wong-Adamal, representing the State Attorney-General's Chambers and Sabah Law Society President Brenndon Keith Soh.Stay up-to-date by following Daily Express’s Telegram channel.

Malanjum said the admission was very significant, since it was the second after the first historical admission of 24 members on July 7, 2010."This would encourage more to be called to this court," he said. - Jo Ann Mool
