Kuala Lumpur: MACC chief Dzulkifli Ahmad finally broke his silence on the alleged extramarital affair, saying he will not allow "dirty tactics" to sidetrack him from his fight against graft.Dzulkifli told TV3 that the attacks were due to the MACC's aggressive approach since early this year to tackle cases of corruption and abuse of power."These dirty tactics are meant to smear my image and reputation as MACC commissioner and to bring down the credibility of the MACC in our efforts to ensure that this country is free from corruption and abuse of power," he said.ADVERTISEMENT He said he will not bow down to such attacks and will continue fighting graft."We are going to continue carrying out our duties as best as we can. Such allegations will not affect us," he said. He said he has also contacted Inspector-General of Police Mohamad Fuzi Harun about the matter."I will leave it to the police to take necessary action," said Dzulkifli. "I want to stress that MACC and its officers are not perturbed by all these dirty tactics."ADVERTISEMENT Dzulkifli was referring to a three-minute video which surfaced last week alleging that a couple had divorced on September 28 at the Ulu Klang lower shariah court due to the woman's alleged affair with him.He, however, did not not say if the contents of the video were true or not.
