Putra Jaya: Datuk Dr Amin Senin has been appointed Director-General of Education from Oct 19, the Chief Secretary to the Government Tan Sri Dr Ali Hamsa announced Tuesday.The appointment of Amin, 57, who was Education Deputy DG (Teaching Professionalism Development Sector) was to replace Tan Sri Dr Khair Mohamad Yusof. He began his 33-year civil service career in education on October 1, 1984. Amin had also held the posts of Aminuddin Baki Institute director and deputy rector of the Institute of Teacher Education Malaysia.
