No shortage of goals in second week

Kota Kinabalu: The second week of the Datuk Tawfiq Cup football tournament saw another high scoring game where AMV FC Kimanis thrashed Sporting Kinabalu FC 9-1 in Group A match held at the Likas Synthetic pitch over the weekend.AMV who lost 1-5 to Racing Athletics in the opening week took a 6-1 lead in the first half with a hat-trick from Mohd Iqhbal and a goal each from Mohd Fitri, Mohd Ashri and Md Farhan while Ilhan Mat Kassim netted the only goal for Sporting Kinabalu. Iqhbal and Fitri both added another one in the second half with the other from Ridzuan Agus. AMV continued their winning run with a slim 1-0 win over Kapazan Real Junior in their second match to top the group with six points followed by Likas United FC 2 with three points.
