Kota Kinabalu: The Seventh Voice Out Youth Festival organised by Pusat Belia Youth-PREP Alamesra (YPC) and will be held for the first time in Tambunan on Oct 14 at the Dewan Masyarakat. It is held in conjunction with the International Day of the Girl-Child.Voice Out is a platform where youths can express their talents through various forms of art while raising awareness on youth-related issues, and this year it have chosen the theme, "Go Beyond Silence" or "Suarakanlah".

The festival has chosen "Online Grooming and Bullying" as a focus to raise awareness on sexual abuse and the issue will be discussed in a forum titled "Me, Dia, Sosial" by several invited panels.There are 600 million girls aged 10-19 in the world today and the International Day of the Girl-Child is celebrated on Oct 11 every year to highlight the potential of the Girl-Child and to address inequalities they face in the society in terms of protection or opportunities.
