Voice Out is a platform where youths can express their talents through various forms of art while raising awareness on youth-related issues, and this year it have chosen the theme, "Go Beyond Silence" or "Suarakanlah".

The festival has chosen "Online Grooming and Bullying" as a focus to raise awareness on sexual abuse and the issue will be discussed in a forum titled "Me, Dia, Sosial" by several invited panels.

There are 600 million girls aged 10-19 in the world today and the International Day of the Girl-Child is celebrated on Oct 11 every year to highlight the potential of the Girl-Child and to address inequalities they face in the society in terms of protection or opportunities.

"Voice Out hopes not only to reach out to more youths to develop their talents but also empower them with the knowledge, to be more courageous to defend and empower themselves, their families and communities, especially against sexual abuse and bully through social media," said Voice Out's Coordinator Kelvin Soimin.
