SabahVfm to have special Raya programmes

Kota Kinabalu: An array of special programmes will be produced by SabahVfm in conjunction with Hari Raya Aidilfitri.SabahVfm Manager Lalitha Sundram said a total of 16 programmes will be aired by all six language broadcasts – Kadazan, Chinese, English, Bajau, Murut and Dusun.For the Kadazan broadcast, Hidayah Aidilfitri will be aired from 7am-7.15am and this will be followed by Aidilfitri greetings from 7.30am-8.30am. Both programmes will be aired on June 25.

There will also be an Aidilfitri song request programme in the Chinese segment, from 10am-11am on June 25 and 26.In the English broadcast, listeners will get to hear Raya messages from Sabahans from 12pm-3pm, starting today (Friday) until June 25. There will also be a special feature on Aidilfitri from 12.30pm-12.45pm on June 25.Special greetings by Sabahan leaders will also be aired during the English broadcast on June 24, 25 and 26.Listeners are also able to request for Hari Raya songs during the English slot on June 25 and 26.

A special sketch will be aired by the Bajau broadcast from 4pm-4.20pm on June 25. Following this is an Aidilfitri drama from 6.30pm-7pm. Listeners are given the opportunity to send greetings and request for songs from 3pm-5pm, starting June 25 until June 27.

The Murut broadcast will air an Aidilfitri feature from 7.45pm-8pm on June 25. There will also be a slot for greetings and song requests from 8pm-9pm on June 25 and 26.As for the Dusun broadcast, a talk on Hari Raya will be aired from 9.30pm-9.45pm on June 25 and there will be a song request segment from 10pm-11pm on June 26.Stay up-to-date by following Daily Express’s Telegram channel.
