Yayasan Melaka denies owning 56 land grants seized in Sabah

Melaka: A total of 56 land grants allegedly confiscated by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) to facilitate a graft investigation involving a state politician do not belong to Yayasan Melaka.Yayasan Melaka General Manager Datuk Zaini Md Nor said the foundation did not own the 56 lots of land in Sabah and the claims made by a local English daily was regrettable. In this regard, he said the newspaper should correct the matter and apologise to Yayasan Melaka over the mistake in the report which was written without referring to authorised sources.
