All the winners stand a chance to be included in the High Impact Programme 6 (HIP6) and given a RM50,000 to RM200,000 development funding.

The programme has been organised since 2015 to provide an opportunity to all Malaysians to come up with inclusive innovations that might be able to solve common problems faced by the people involving utilities, health, education and productivity.

The competition also will help the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (Mosti) to identity products that have the potential to be further developed.

It Minister Datuk Seri Wilfred Madius Tangau said through well-planned efforts to make innovation and creativity a popular culture under the TN50 initiative, Malaysia can become a 20 of the most developed nations in the world.

He said innovation not only solves problems but also breaks new barriers as the country pushes toward a new era.
