Two SunCon units bag RM186m deals

style="text-transform: uppercase;">Kuala Lumpur: Sunway Construction Group Bhd's units, Sunway Construction Sdn Bhd (SCSB) and Sunway Geotechnics (M) Sdn Bhd (SunGeo), have secured three contracts worth RM186.3 million. The company said SCSB won a RM152.4 million contract from Gas District Cooling (Putrajaya) Sdn Bhd for the proposed engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning at Gas District Cooling Plant 1, Presint 1, Putrajaya.

In a filing to Bursa Malaysia Friday, the group said SunGeo secured a RM18.1 million contract from Cergas Murni Sdn Bhd for bore piling works of the Sungai Besi–Ulu Klang Elevated Expressway (SUKE) Section B Package CB1.

"The SUKE project will commence on May 15, 2017 and is expected to be completed on April 30, 2018," the group said.

SunGeo also received a contract worth RM15.8 million from Usahasama Monza-Latimer for bore piling works of the Damansara–Shah Alam Elevated Expressway's (DASH) Section A Puncak Perdana to Kota Damansara Package CA1.
