Yassin when contacted on Saturday confirmed that they are replacing current head coach Steve Vilmiaire and team manager Adlane Messelem who took charge of the team's seven Premier league games and two FA Cup matches so far this season.
"Yes, it is true that Musa has given us the task to turn the team around following the poor results."
He said an official announcement on the new coaching line-up will only be done on Tuesday morning but is understood that there may be a major reshuffle in the President Cup's coaching line-up as well.
"At the moment, I can only disclose as much and all should be made clear on Tuesday morning.
But we will start work on the team on Monday afternoon at the Likas Stadium,' he said.
The removal of Steve and Adlane was not a surprising move. The writing was long on the wall following poor results with the team languishing second from bottom in the table standing with only four points from only one win and one draw in eight matches played.
Earlier, former head coach Kelly Tham and ex-player Bobby Chua have both been very vocal on the appointment of the French coaches.
They had called on the management to take immediate action to stop the team from suffering further humiliation by lesser teams.
The only victory was against bottom Cup team Perlis on February 3 and the draw was against newly promote club side PKNP on March 3 while the other matches saw them lost to Negri Sembilan 0-3, Kuala Lumpur 1-2, ATM 2-5, JDT II 0-1, UiTM 2-3 and MISC MIFA 1-3.
However, they managed to win their two FA Cup matches against minnows and third tier sides UKM 1-0 and KL MOF FC 4-2. Their next match is the FA Cup quarter-final first leg tie against Negri Sembilan on April 1 followed by the Premier League match against Terengganu on April 7. - GL Oh
