The house owner, Mackery Victor told Daily Express on Tuesday that he was shocked to see a King Cobra, said to be the world's longest venomous snake, facing his dogs.
"Upon reaching home, I heard barking at the back of my house and when I went to find out what was going on, I was surprised to see that my dogs were barking and intimidating a King Cobra.
For fear my safety and family, I immediately contacted the Civil Defence Force (APM) to seek their assistance," he said.
At 11.57am, five APM personnel arrived and captured the King Cobra in 15 minutes.
The snake was to be sent to the Lok Kawi Wildlife Park.
