Tengku Dr Muhammad Faiz Petra appointed as Regent of Kelantan

Kota Baru: Tengku Mahkota Kelantan Tengku Dr Muhammad Faiz Petra, 42, was appointed as the Regent of Kelantan at a ceremony held at the Istana Kota Lama, here Thursday. He will assume the position throughout the duration the Sultan of Kelantan, Sultan Muhammad V performs the duty as the 15th Yang di-Pertuan Agong beginning Dec 13 for a period of five years. Sultan Muhammad V presented the instrument of appointment as the Regent of Kelantan to his younger brother, after Kelantan Menteri Besar Datuk Ahmad Yakob announced his appointment to the post.
