Labuan Corp staff urged to improve creativity in daily work

Labuan: The staff of Labuan Corporation have been urged to seek innovation and improve creativity in their daily work so that it can be a culture in the organisation. Its chief executive officer, Azhar Ahmad, said the effort to inculcate the culture of innovation and creativity among the staff was in line with the government's aspiration to boost the development of innovation in all public departments and agencies. "The effort is also aimed to fulfil the demand of the policy and to ensure the service provided by the Corporation will reach the targeted group in a more efficient and cost-saving manner," he said at the Labuan Corporation Innovation Day celebration here yesterday.

He said among the moves that could be taken by the staff were by ensuring that the environment in their workplace would remain comfortable and customer-friendly; and by looking for effective solutions to repeated problems so that recurrence could be reduced.
