Ex-KL Police Chief Chin suffers stroke

Kota Kinabalu: Former Kuala Lumpur Police Chief Tan Sri Henry Chin Poy Wu, 79, suffered a stroke Friday evening, resulting in serious haemorrhage in his head. According to his son Alex Chin, his father is now at the ICU of PPUM (Universiti Hospital) at Menara Utama.Henry was attending a board meeting Friday afternoon in Kuala Lumpur when two other board members Dato Yii Ching Siew and Dato Karen Lee noticed that Henry look sick at around 5pm and immediately called an ambulance and sent him to hospital.

Henry is also advisor to a number of listed companies, and former president of the Sabah Basketball Association. He was also a member of the Royal Commission of Inquiry (RCI) on illegal immigrants.
