Shangri-La's Rasa Ria wins Best Hotel Service

Tuaran: Shangri-La's Rasa Ria Resort & Spa, Kota Kinabalu announced that the resort won the Ministry of Tourism and Culture Malaysia's "Best Hotel Services" award under the five-star resort category, Malaysia's most prominent tourism award, at the 19th Malaysia Tourism Awards on Feb 17."We are extremely proud to be honoured with this distinction in the Malaysia Tourism Awards," said Jonathan Reynolds, general manager at Shangri-La's Rasa Ria Resort & Spa, Kota Kinabalu. "Ultimately, it is all about service and therefore I am delighted that our exceptional team have been recognised in this way."

In April 2015, the resort introduced additional sea-facing Premier Rooms to its exclusive Ocean Wing; these, combined with the family-friendly Garden Wing, make it a 499-room resort.

A new addition to further enhance the resort's dining options is Oceano Italian Restaurant featuring authentic regional Italian cuisine in a spacious contemporary setting.

To continue delivering exceptional guest experience, the resort plans to launch exciting developments at the Nature Reserve, in conjunction with the 20th anniversary of Nature Interpretation Centre this year.
