TO promote the love for reading, complete efforts are also made to reach out to the vulnerable and visually-impaired.

For example, participating in the festival include Kalimat Foundation – a non-profit organisation founded under the patronage of Sheikh Bodour bin Sultan Al Qasimi, to uphold children’s right to access books.

“The foundation services vulnerable and visually-disabled children, by equipping and empowering them with knowledge and ideas about books, through a variety of accessible formats.

“To ease social integration and build better prospects in learning and better opportunities in adulthood,” Fatima Al Shamai, Senior Executive – Marketing, told Daily Express at in the Expo Centre Sharjah.
