A RESTAURANT in Japan recently had to discard 25 sets of nasi lemak, resulting in significant financial loss and food waste.
All because a Malaysian travel agent who allegedly had ordered them did not show up.

On Facebook, the restaurant employee using the username Sou Tanaka explained that they had sent a WhatsApp message to remind the person who placed the order but got no response. The same happened with the phone calls made later.
“Sometimes cancellations happen, but usually, I receive a message apologising.
“This was the first time I had not received a response to a cancellation. Where is the sense of responsibility?” Tanaka said, originally posting in Japanese.
Tanaka also posted a photo of the nasi lemak sets on the tables.
